Kia ora, living being 🌿
My name is Celica G. Di Ronco — thanks for being here. Maybe you’re just passing through, maybe you’re a quiet reader with no name, or maybe an extraterrestrial who happens to understand this language. Whatever you are, I’ll simply call you a living being. Please don’t take it the wrong way — without you, I am nothing.
Before you go, let me tell you a few things. It won’t take long. Eduardo Galeano once wrote: “the system empties our memory or fills it with garbage and thus teaches us to repeat the story instead of creating it.” I’ve always felt the urge to create. This is my story:
I started drawing when I was 5. Painting came next. At 16, I began writing. Then I tattooed skin for a while. At 19, I finished my studies in building design and construction (yes — I’m a Master Builder). At 20, I picked up the bass — first electric, then double. By 26, I was swimming through mathematics, physics and literature. I didn’t finish those degrees, but I learned what I needed. That knowledge has carried me through this rough, unpredictable world.
At 29, I published Humores Vítreos Azules, my first novel. I moved to Barcelona at 30, wrote Fluxiones Viscosas Magentas at 31. I started taking photos at 33 — first digital, then I fell in love with film, darkrooms, chemicals and all. At 37, I released Lapsus Volátiles Naranjas. At 38, I studied permaculture. At 41, I published Bucles Polisémicos Abisales.
Now I’m working on a non-fiction book about synaesthesia and hyperthymesia called Pozos de sueño intermitente. It’s a sequel to Otras putrefacciones, which is still fermenting in some part of me.
In Europe, I worked long hours in tech and communications. I gave support in big companies and helped people navigate the digital revolution. These days I’m part of a government agency, working on data and AI, supporting cloud infrastructure in health research.
I also manage a handful of other projects:
- Artistica · Di Ronco — where I explore art, photography, and literature
- Luzniebla Studios · Z Andromedae — graphic and industrial design
- Di Ronco · Industries — urban research, marine tech, automation, sustainability
- Pinturas — paint manufacturing for artists and industry
- Soldaduras — a space for welding and materials science
Through it all, I stay curious, determined, and creatively stubborn. I’m a Design Thinker and a student of complex problem-solving. I’m also an artist, writer, photographer, master builder, and sailor. These identities don’t compete — they combine. They help me see things from different angles. And that, to me, is the heart of innovation.

Anything else to add?
I want to keep moving. I love sailing. I love my friends. I play the double bass and stare at the sky. I’m learning Italian and English. At night, when the weather is kind, I set up my telescope and drift into the stars, chasing dreams that never come in sleep.
What do they have in common?
All of this comes down to one thing: I’ve chosen to shape my life with my own hands. I don’t have academic medals pinned to my chest. I’ve been called “nobody” more than once. But I’ve taught myself what I needed. I’ve worked hard. I’ve paid attention. I don’t want prestige — I want purpose.
If I die tomorrow, I’ll be at peace. But if I wake up again, I’ll keep learning, keep building, and keep getting better. Because that’s what living means to me.
Have you thought about what you want to do with your life?
I’ve been working for 40 years to make mine useful. Everything I do points toward leaving a better world for my niece — and her future.
Art is my way. Maybe it’s not the most efficient tool, but it’s powerful. It speaks when words fail. It holds pain and beauty. It lingers across generations. Art connects us — to nature, to each other, to memory. The oldest cave paintings prove it: we’ve always needed symbols to survive.
Changing the world is hard. But culture helps. Creativity helps. These things inspire us to hope when everything else says give up.
Life isn’t a waste of time. Every effort matters. Every little step is a way forward.

What happens next?
Nothing ever happens in this world… because everything happens on Netflix. But I believe in something more. I believe in the quiet revolution of people like me — people waiting for humanity to leap forward instead of collapsing inward.

About this website
This site may seem strange at first. There are some big words. Some weird ones too. But really, it’s just a reflection of what I do — a mix of art, code, story, texture, and thought. I’ve nothing else to add, except… I think it’s absolutely fantastic.

I’m a Design Thinker, a Complex Problem-Solver, Artist, Writer, Photographer, Master Builder, and Sailor. If you see a collaboration opportunity — send it my way. I’ll travel anywhere, as long as the wind feels right.

And that’s all, for now.
If you’ve read this far, thank you. Truly. I don’t believe in perfect bios, tidy timelines, or neatly labelled boxes. I believe in movement. In contradictions. In silence. In creation.
This page is just a sketch — one of many — and like everything else I do, it’s alive.
